I have concluded my return foray into local radio at WRFN, with my second radio show from the last two decades on Radio Free Nashville at 107.1 and 103.7 FM in the greater Nashville (TN) area, having produced and broadcast (50) one-hour shows of “The Two Spies Report” broadcast weekly on the Thursday afternoon drive times over the 2023 period. I have concluded again that, at my age, I am inadequate to give the level of effort in research in both producing a quality weekly radio broadcast AND that required for my book projects and the scope of information to be compiled and processed – the same problem that necessitating my concluding of my earlier Future Quake show on local radio after seven years, as I began my pursuit of solo book projects. What I was able to do over the previous year was to create a series of weekly shows that feature a good degree of research, review of contemporary news stories and some subject areas of recent interest to myself, some special topics that I reviewed in depth (such as a very detailed and chronological recitation of the unfolding scandal and descent of Tim Ballard and Operation Underground Railroad that largely began unspooling in real time during the course of the show’s tenure), some special, esoteric topics in the “Future Quake” vein of weirdness, and even an extended recitation of historical findings from my recent book that I felt were most enlightening from his book. I also want to thank Adam Sayne of the popular Conspirinormal podcast for his visits on its monthly Contemporary Case Files edition, and three episodes recorded live in the radio studios of WRFN (albeit with a number of technical difficulties), including a special visit by friends Ben and Don of yours truly.
As promised at the conclusion of my last show, I have archived these (50) episodes into an online podcast format, entitled, “The Two Spies Report – The Original WRFN Broadcast Archives.” The (mostly) 58-minute episodes are hosted by Spotify, but are also available at Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and wherever RSS feeds of better podcasts are supported. These recordings are the original shows broadcast weekly by WRFN, including the unique educational and eclectic “Music for Meditation” segments showcased within each show’s segment breaks.
I plan to enter the world of Youtube video publishing, and, after learning the ropes of digital video editing, plan to edit and upload individual segments of each show already recorded in raw video form up to that forum, as yet another experiment in seeking those rare birds also interested and vested in the spiritual burdens and pursuits that I feel called to address. After that, I will return to my “dungeon of writing” and get the next book concluded!
